Through the renovation of the Historic Holy Family School located on Dr. Fredrick Humphries Street into a dedicated center where our elderly can have a safe place to congregate without interruption and to provide activities at the center that will enrich their health and wellbeing.
Providing Opportunities for the Youth
Through the creation of a dedicated youth center at the old Apalachicola High School Gym to move our children from the street corners into a structured safe environment filled with an assortment of activities to enhance their physical and mental wellbeing.
Protecting the Local Seafood Industry
By insisting upon environmentally sensitive growth and development and utilizing all available means including petitioning the courts to ensure the Apalachicola River and Bay remains a healthy and productive estuary.
Redevelopment
Using Tax Increment Financing to improve the city’s infrastructure as a means to attract investors that will ultimately preserve our culture, revitalize our commercial districts, and restore our neglected neighborhoods and through the revamping of our Community Redevelopment Agency to oversee the redevelopment efforts.
Building Community Pride
By bringing individual members of the community together to work in unison to solve the complex issues facing Apalachicola and through involving them in the process by way of appointments to community service projects and planning boards.

Job creation comes with an environment that invites new investment in our city. As Mayor, I am committed to building and maintaining the business base of Apalachicola to ensure jobs and opportunity for all.
