Another Fire Strikes Downtown

Sunday March 1, another fire struck in the downtown area of Apalachicola. The call came in at approximately 9:45 PM reporting that the old Apalachicola Times building owned by John Lee was on fire. The rapid response of the Apalachicola volunteer fire department assisted by Eastpoint enabled firefighters to bring the blaze quickly under control. No other buildings were reported damaged.
